Biography

Ph. D. in Civil Engineering by Stanford University. Civil Engineer by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Professor of Civil, Informatic and Environmental Engineering and also Director of the CIFE at Stanford University. Superior member of the Precourt Institute for Energy and coordinator of the Building Energy Efficiency Research at the same institution. Has over 100 published articles in index magazines and important book chapters. During he’s professional career he has been awarded by the National Science Foundation. Considered one of the top 25 columnist by Engineering News Record and won best article of informatics in Civil Engineering for ASCE Journal. Elected honorable foreign member for the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
